BOLD DECISIONS, LUXURY FIREARMS & NEW INNOVATIONS

Despite the onset of an international economic crisis affecting almost all industries in 2009 CAESAR GUERINI undertook another challenge, creating a new model to enrich the range of luxury shotguns. This was a bold decision. The new model was appropriately named, the APEX. The action is embellished with full-coverage engraving that incorporates no fewer than four different techniques, and the frame’s hand-polished coin finish is treated to our Invisalloy coating, which makes the metal rust-resistant while enhancing the contrast in the rich, dense, immaculate engraving. Visually distinguishing this gun is its revolutionary new full-length trigger guard. Screws are eliminated for a clean, seamless look, and the end of the guard terminates in a perfectly fitted skeletal grip cap for a touch of elegance.

The FORUM model also adopts this stock and trigger guard design as an aesthetic restyling. In the same year, the APEX has its first success, winning the “Editor’s Choice” award from Outdoor Life magazine.

In 2009, CAESAR GUERINI, which had become known for its awareness of customers’ needs, also introduced the DTS KINETIC BALANCER devices for the stock and DTS BARREL BALANCER for the barrel. These two innovations, part of the DTS system, added functionality and value for shooters who desired to adjust the balance of their guns, as well as reducing felt recoil.
