The fore-end iron System

Precision and Long-Term Regulation

In Caesar Guerini shotguns, the fore-end iron assembly is engineered as an advanced system designed to ensure precise mating surfaces, long-term durability, and a consistent operating feel even after extensive use.

The fore-end iron is fitted with an interchangeable insert made of special steel, positioned at the contact point between the barrel lug and the cross itself. This solution allows any play caused by wear to be easily and effectively compensated, restoring proper locking without invasive intervention and significantly extending the functional life of the firearm.

Selected models feature the patented Winged fore-end iron, which preserves all the mechanical functions of the traditional fore-end iron while introducing two symmetrical lateral extensions. In addition to their structural value, these extensions provide a broader surface for engraving, reinforcing the shotgun’s distinctive aesthetic identity.

DTS – Action Control System

To enhance shooter comfort during opening and closing operations, the fore-end iron assembly on Invictus models has been developed with the patented DTS – Action Control System.

Using a simple Allen key supplied with the firearm, the system allows micrometric adjustment of the friction, ensuring a consistent operating force over time despite natural mechanical settling.

The result is a tangible advantage: the shooter can define an ideal level of resistance, eliminating the traditional compromise between new firearms that are often overly stiff and used shotguns that inevitably become looser with time.
