DTS Dynamic Tuning System
The DTS (Dynamic Tuning System) project was developed through the commitment of our technical team and significant investments in research and development, with a clear objective: to deliver advanced technological solutions capable of meeting the growing demand for customizations for hunters and shooters. Innovation and aesthetics come together to ensure outstanding performance without sacrificing the elegance that has always distinguished our shotguns.
The DTS project encompasses a wide range of studies and applications: from adjustable top ribs on competition shotguns, to Express rifled barrels equipped with shot convergence adjustment systems; from stocks with multi-directional adjustable combs, available in both wood and soft “No Impact” rubber, to DTS Kinetic Balancer devices for both stock and barrel, designed to optimize balance and reduce recoil.
DTS solutions allow shooters and hunters to customize every fundamental aspect of their firearm: balance, point of impact, and stock fit tailored to individual measurements. In particular, adjustable ribs not only enable precise point-of-impact adjustment, but also improve target visibility by promoting a more natural and effective shooting posture.
DTS Adjustable Ribs AT
Developed for competition shotguns in 12 gauge only, specifically for American Trap and Double Trap disciplines. Mounted on over-and-under barrels as well as on mono barrels in both Top and Bottom configurations, the 25 mm rib height allows point-of-impact adjustment up to 100%.
DTS Adjustable Ribs IMPACT
In this case, the goal was particularly ambitious: to introduce a new relationship between the shooter and their firearm through complete shotgun customization, aimed at professional Trap and Sporting shooters who have traditionally been reluctant to modify their shooting habits and have long favored conventional shotguns. Designed for both 12 and 20 gauge shotguns, the Impact ribs are suitable for Trap and Sporting disciplines. The minimal rib height of just 17 mm provides the shooter with the same visual and shooting sensation as a traditional rib. In practical terms, adopting Impact technology offers a clear advantage for disciplines that have historically relied exclusively on traditional shotgun configurations.
These ribs allow point-of-impact adjustment up to 80%.
DTS Adjustable Ribs EVOLUTION
The DTS Adjustable Rib project has recently been expanded with another important addition: the Evolution model. Its technical characteristics and adjustment system are inspired by the Impact competition rib.
The new adjustable rib, standing only 14 mm high, is equipped with a vibration-damping system positioned midway along the barrel.
Point-of-impact adjustment has been optimized to a range of 50/50% to 70/30%, allowing for a further reduction in overall rib height. The Evolution is currently the lowest adjustable rib available on the market.
High-rib competition shotguns are increasingly sought after by modern shooters; however, not all require the extreme adjustment offered by some Caesar Guerini models. The new Ascent provides the answer.
It is designed for shooters seeking a minimalist approach, featuring a high, tapered rib combined with a DTS Monte Carlo stock. Both barrels and stock have been engineered to achieve perfect balance in the hands, enhancing handling and overall shootability.
EXPRESS: Point of Impact Adjustment
Express rifles also benefit from the DTS project, which enables precise and controlled point-of-impact adjustment, tailored to the specific ammunition used. Near the muzzle, a patented interchangeable insert made from special chrome-vanadium steel is installed. Secured by two opposing screws, this insert allows fine, stable, and reliable barrel convergence adjustment, ensuring long-term consistency and outstanding ballistic precision.
The firearm is also equipped with high-visibility adjustable sights, designed to facilitate rapid target acquisition even in low-light conditions.
For further customization, the rifle allows the installation of the customer’s preferred optical system. By simply removing the two plates located on the rib, the chosen optic can be mounted quickly and easily.
The “DTS” Stock
The DTS stock features a multi-directional adjustable comb offering adjustment in seven micrometric directions. It is available either in wood or, upon request, in soft “No Impact” rubber. Both versions are fully interchangeable. The stock is also designed to house the optional DTS Kinetic Balancer. This system uses three balancing weights positioned between two springs to provide optimal, personalized balance while significantly reducing recoil, enhancing overall firearm stability. A dedicated version of this device is also available for the barrel: the DTS Barrel Balancer.
