In combination with the Maxisbore design, 12 gauge shotguns adopt Maxischokes characterized by a more progressive constriction geometry. The gentle tapering angle promotes a more uniform shot distribution, reducing pellet deformation and improving overall ballistic performance.

All Caesar Guerini chokes—Selectachoke and Maxischoke—intended for both hunting and sport shooting, are made of high strength alloy steel and are available in various choke configurations, allowing shooters and hunters to adapt the firearm to their specific operational and ballistic needs.

Alongside traditional solutions, an innovative set of Grade 5 Titanium chokes, called E 22 (a reference inspired by the periodic table of elements), is also available for 12 gauge shotguns. Thanks to their extreme lightness and the material’s ductility, these refined looking chokes help improve the shotgun’s overall balance, maintaining perfect equilibrium without compromising strength or ballistic performance.
